Travel Awards

The Trust funds both individual and group travel awards to enhance recipients' personal development through attendance at conferences and workshops or study visits. Some recent examples:

2020

Argyll College: Group Study tour for students to observe agricultural and horticultural machinery involved in food production in the agriculture and horticulture sectors, and attend workshops

Harper Adams University: Group Enterprise project to carryout a research project for CLAAS GmbH and their advanced development department.

2019

Victoria Tennant: Funding to study sustainability of methods of  'vertical farming' through study visits and attendance at Milan conference

Thesis

Liliano Castillo Villamor: Travel to Colombia to test new method, based on intelligent tracking of data distributions, to identify anomalies within crop fields over time
